Man Charged With DWI In Hampton Bays: Police

HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A Brooklyn man, 50, was arrested early Friday and charged with driving while intoxicated in Hampton Bays, police said.

At 12:52 a.m., he was seen driving in the center lane and failing to maintain his lane of travel on Montauk Highway in the area of Gravel Hill Road, Southampton Town police said.

He was arrested, charged with misdemeanor DWI and several violations of vehicle and traffic law, police said. He was processed and held for arraignment at Southampton Town Justice Court Friday morning, police said.
