Man Charged With Felony DWI After Rear-Ending Vehicle: Police

HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A Hampton Bays man was charged with felony driving while intoxicated Thursday afternoon, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police, at 4:49 p.m., Daniel J. Bozuhoski, 52, rear-ended another vehicle on Montauk Highway East near North Shore Road.

Police determined that he was driving his motor vehicle while intoxicated; he was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, previous conviction within 10 years, a felony, and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, alcohol related, a misdemeanor, police said.

Bozuhoski was taken to Southampton Town Police headquarters for arrest processing and held to appear in Southampton Town Justice Court at morning arraignment, police said..
