Man Charged With Felony DWI In Hampton Bays: Cops
He was stopped on Montauk Highway, police say.
HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A Riverhead man was caught driving drunk in Hampton Bays, police said.
According to New York State Police, on Feb. 10 at 2:20 a.m., Jose Davila-Ochoa, 28, was driving on Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays and was stopped for a vehicle and traffic violation.
Upon further investigation, Davila-Ochoa was found to be intoxicated with a BAC of .14%; Davila-Ochoa was arrested and charged with felony driving while intoxicated and held for arraignment at Southampton Town Justice Court, police said.
