Man Charged With 'Intent To Cause Injury To An Officer' After Fight: Police
BREAKING: The man was held in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond, police said.
WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY — A Westhampton Beach man was arrested and charged with second degree assault with intent to cause injury to an officer while being taken into custody for a fight, police said.
According to New York State Police, Kevin Sabo, 26, was arrested on Sunday outside of the Mill Roadhouse in Westhampton Beach and charged with the crime, a felony.
Sabo was arraigned in the Village of Westhampton Beach Justice Court where he was remanded to the Suffolk County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond, police said.

Sabo is to re-appear in the Village of Westhampton Beach Justice Court on Wednesday at 1 p.m., police said.
