Man Chased By Robbers At Speonk Train Station: Cops
The man, chased by two robbers, ran to a nearby home to ask for help, police say.

SPEONK, NY — Two men were arrested after chasing and trying to rob a man at the Speonk train station, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, the incident took place on Sunday at 5 p.m. when a call came in from a local resident reporting that a man was at their house, asking for someone to call police.
The man said that he had just been chased from the Speonk train station by two men trying to rob him, police said.

Officers located the man, who was injured during the incident, and obtained a description of the pair, police said. A second person reporting the pair was also found at the Speonk train station by Southampton patrol officers, police said.
New York State Police and Southampton Town Police established a perimeter and quickly located Nick Lauro, 38, of Patchogue, and Christopher Moya-Reyes, 24, of Shirley, and arrested both, police said.

Lauro was charged with two counts of second degree robbery and Moya-Reyes was charged with two counts of second degree robbery and fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property, police said.
