Man Facing Felony Charge After Stealing From Hampton Bays Store: Police

He was slapped with a felony grand larceny charge, police say.

HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A man was arrested after stealing from a mobile phone repair shop in Hampton Bays, police said.

According to Southampton Town police, on Wednesday, the patrol division along with the Southampton Town Police Department's detective squad conducted an investigation into a reported larceny at the GeekHampton retail store on E. Montauk Highway.

At about 8:31 p.m., the Southampton Town Police Department arrested Nelson A. Juarez-Nunez, 24, who is currently without a known address in Hampton Bays, police said.

On September 14, Juarez-Nunez entered GeekHampton and took property from the store without right or privilege to do so, police said.

Juarez-Nunez was taken to the Southampton Town police headquarters for arrest processing and was issued a desk appearance ticket to appear in Southampton Town Justice Court at a later date, police said.
