Manorville Woman Dies In Head-On Crash: Police

MANORVILLE, NY — A Manorville woman was killed in a head-on crash Tuesday, police said.

The crash took place at 9:25 a.m. on Wading River Road, north of Par Drive, Suffolk County police said. Mary Brennen, 40, was driving a 2018 Hyundai Tucson southbound on Wading River Road, north of Par Drive, when her vehicle crossed into the northbound lane, striking a 2019 Nissan Rogue,driven by Sheryl Gochman, 68, of Manorville, police said.

Both women were airlifted via Suffolk County Police helicopter to Stony Brook University Hospital, police said.

Brennen was pronounced dead at the hospital and Gochman was admitted for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
