Manorville Woman Seriously Injured In Rollover Crash: Police
The crash took place Friday, police say.
MANORVILLE, NY — A Manorville woman was seriously injured in a rollover crash on Sunrise Highway Friday, police said.
The single-vehicle crash took place in the westbound lane, west of Wading River Road, at 3:40 p.m., Suffolk County police said. Robyn Rankin, 46, was driving a 2012 Hyundai Sonata in the right lane when she apparently lost control of the vehicle, which left the roadway, struck a sign and overturned, police said.
Rankin was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries, police said.

Her passenger, John Oliva, 53, of Mastic, was transported to Long Island Community Hospital in
Patchogue with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
No charges were filed in the crash. The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Anyone with information is asked to call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
