Motorcyclist, 21, Dies In Manorville Crash Saturday: Police
The Babylon man died after his motorcycle left the roadway and hit a boulder and mailbox, police say.
MANORVILLE, NY — A motorcyclist died in a Manorville crash Saturday, police said.
According to Suffolk County police, the single-vehicle crash took place at 1:56 p.m. on Wading River Road, just south of Maple Lane.
Daniel Verbeke, 21, of Babylon, was operating a 2026 Yamaha when the motorcycle left the roadway and struck a boulder and mailbox, police said.

Verbeke was transported to NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk in Patchogue where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The motorcycle was impounded for a safety check, police said.
