QUOGUE, NY — Soon after celebrating their 20th year in Westhampton Beach, Hampton Coffee has opened a brand-new espresso bar & café at the former Beth’s Café in Quogue Village.

The eatery features a full-service, sit-down breakfast and lunch restaurant, owners Jason and Theresa Belkin said.

The menu includes "all the same to-go bakery, smoothie, and coffee drinks" as their other locations "as well as an extended menu of classic breakfast and lunch favorites, a burger bar of specialty burgers, a lobster menu, an authentic Mexican grill menu, and daily specials. A curated selection of local beer and wine, Sangria, and mimosas are also served."

"We are so excited to be able to continue the almost 100-year legacy of a luncheonette in this location," said Hampton Coffee co-owner Theresa Belkin, who lives in Westhampton and owns the business with her husband Jason.

"We’ve offered this full-menu, full-service restaurant experience at our original location in Water Mill for almost three decades and we are so happy to be able to bring that west of the canal to Quogue," she said.

Looking back at the building's storied history, in 1932, the space became a pharmacy, ice cream, and soda shop and slowly evolved into a breakfast-and-lunch spot over the years.

Photos from that era are displayed on the walls inside the café, thanks to the gift of some historic photos from a long-time Quogue local and historian, the Belkins said.

The new Hampton Coffee Company in Quogue is the Southampton-based company’s eighth location, having opened its seventh spot in Hampton Bays last year.

"We are so proud to be growing our local business again and especially here in Quogue, and so close to where we live in Westhampton," said Jason. "As we grow we create even more year-round, full-time opportunities for our current and new team members and first-time job experiences for local kids. We’re proud to remain grounded in our local communities."

Hampton Coffee Company, the Belkins said, "is a proud supporter of more than 100 local school and non-profit organizations every year."

HCC and its customers donated more than $500 on opening day to the Quogue Elementary School PTA, they said.

The new café features bar seating as well as indoor and outdoor dining, is kid-friendly, and accommodates pets outdoors, they said.

The new Hampton Coffee Company is located at 48 Quogue Street, at the corner of Jessup Avenue and Quogue Street, and is open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
