New Westhampton Beach 'Holiday Bingo' Game Supports Local Businesses

WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY — With an eye toward shopping local this holiday season, the Greater Westhampton Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a "Holiday Bingo" contest.

The new shopping game gives participants an opportunity to win prizes while supporting local businesses, the chamber said. The contest, based on the popular bingo game, involves players filling out their bingo cards by collecting receipts from participating merchants, the chamber said.

“We were looking for an innovative way to promote our members and create a fun shopping experience,” said Chamber President Marlene Brill.

To play, participants can pick up a bingo card at any participating business or at the Chamber of Commerce office, located at 7 Glovers Lane in Westhampton Beach.

Players make a bingo by having five businesses placed horizontally, vertically, diagonally or with all four corners on their card. Full card entries will be placed in a separate grand raffle for a larger prize. Receipts must total $150. Players must turn in their cards with at least one completed bingo by Dec. 24 to the Chamber of Commerce office to earn a complimentary gift. Completed cards with receipts can also be mailed to the chamber office. The chamber is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the chamber said.

Winners will be announced in early January via email and listed on the chamber’s website. Prizes include gift cards and merchandise from participating businesses.

Participating businesses include Lillian’s Hair Salon & Spa, Impulse for Men, Salt & Loft, John’s Pools & Spas, Westhampton Beach Brewing Company, Pawcasso, Brunetti Pizza & Wine Bar, TOLA. Westhampton, Fauna, Garden of Silver, Mint, Xanadu, Buoy One, High End Hippie, Tweed, 103 Bambinos Pizzeria, Flora, Chic, Good Westhampton, Mixology, Lynne’s Cards & Gifts, Red Jacket Books, Sydney’s Taylor Made Cuisine, Wetter or Not and Caffeine.
