New York Islanders Honor Local Kids For Giving Back
Congratulations to these students who have hearts of gold!

WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY — The New York Islanders honored three amazing Westhampton Beach Middle School eighth graders for their caring hearts and efforts to give back.
Reilly Mahon, Anthony Agudelo and Lauren Goss teamed up to raise money for East End Disability Associates through a polar bear plunge they organized in January, the district said.
The students were invited to attend the Islanders’ March 1 game, where they were recognized with the Ladd’s Leaders award after being nominated through the Team Up 4 Community organization. The students were photographed with Islanders player Andrew Ladd.
