Open Days Program Garden Tour - East End
May 21: Self-guided tours of five private gardens, open to benefit the Garden Conservancy.

On May 21, explore five gardens in Cutchogue, Flanders, and Remsenburg, open to the public for self-guided tours to benefit the Garden Conservancy. No reservations required; rain or shine. Featuring a 4,000-gallon koi pond, hand-crafted benches and garden art, and a formal garden of ‘Knock Out’ roses. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $7 per garden; children 12 & under free. Visitors may begin the May 21st Open Day at any of the following locations:
- Garden of Arnold & Karen Blair, 4560 Vanston Road, Cutchogue – a park-like woodland garden with numerous spring flowering shrubs and trees, specimen evergreens, antique and salvaged garden ornaments, and 180-degree bay views.
- Garden of Valerie M. Ansalone, 86 Risa Court, Flanders – this twenty-eight year-old garden features winding paths under an oak canopy, that lead to a 4,000-gallon koi pond.
- The Gardens of Fred Meyer, 7 Tuthill Lane, Remsenburg – featuring a series of imaginative garden rooms, a colorful perennial border, a wisteria-covered pergola, as well as hand-crafted benches and garden art.
- Tuthill Gardens, 16 Tuthill Lane, Remsenburg – the gardens are comprised of mature tree peonies, azaleas, and dogwoods edged with a yew hedge, a formal garden of ‘Knock Out’ roses, and a two long parterres flanking a wide grass path.
- Wintergreen Garden, 34 Nidzyn Avenue, Remsenburg – a forty-year-old garden featuring recycled brick paths forming a Celtic cross, patterned brick patios, seating, statuary, a pool, a fish pond, a children's playhouse, and a folly.
