Really, we have had great weather; the ocean has been clean and clear; boating and fishing have been spectacular; tons of outdoor events and activities available…it has been a great summer. Now we need to plan for next summer. What? Next summer? It is not even Labor Day! School hasn’t started! How could we be thinking of next summer?

Listen to me; this is the best time to be thinking of it. You are in the moment now! You know what you like or dislike about the house you rented. You know if the timing was right, the accommodations were enough, the amenities were used or unused and what you would like more of for next summer. Also, there is little competition for next summer’s rental now. If you wait until February or March, your dream house may have been snagged up by another renter. Be the “early bird” this year and snag up that big juicy worm!
