Police: Drunk Man Crashes Car Into Pole in Hampton Bays
The man was hospitalized for minor injuries, police say.
A Hampton Bays man was arrested after crashing into a pole while driving drunk in Hampton Bays early Tuesday morning, according to Southampton Town Police.
Police received a report of an accident with a single car into a pole on Newtown Road and East Landing Road at about 2 a.m., police said.
Officers responded to the location and conducted an investigation.

The driver of the car, James Everett, 19, was arrested for DWI and transported to Peconic Bay Medical center for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
He was treated and then transported to police headquarters for processing.
