Police: Flanders Man Arrested For Gun Possession

A Flanders man was arrested for possession of a gun after police searched his home on Monday night, according to Southampton Town Police.

Police assisted the Suffolk County Probation Department with a search of Brown’s home pursuant to conditions of his probation and recovered a loaded 9mm semi-automatic pistol from his house at about 8:18 p.m., police said.

Brown was charged with third degree criminal possession of a weapon and held for morning arraignment, police said.
