Police: Hampton Bays Store Clerk Sold Alcohol to Minor

A clerk at a Hampton Bays store was arrested for selling alcohol to a minor during an underage drinker enforcement operation in Hampton Bays on Monday, according to State Police.

During the operation one retail establishment was cited for selling alcoholic beverages to an undercover State Police operative, police said.

Muhammed Ishaq, 43, of East Patchogue, a clerk at 7-Eleven on 53 West Montauk Highway was arrested and charged with second degree unlawful dealing with a child and prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage, police said.

He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to 1st District Court at a later date.

• Shell Mart - 250 West Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays.
• Hampton Quick Stop - 1630 Old Country Rd. Southampton.
• Speedway – 816 Old Country Rd. Southampton.
• South Fork Deli – 863 Old Country Rd. Southampton.
