Police: Hampton Bays Woman Arrested on DWI Charge
The arrest was made in Hampton Bays on Wednesday night.
A Hampton Bays woman was arrested on a DWI charge on Wednesday night in Hampton Bays, according to Southampton Town Police.
Melissa R. Witjen, 35, was stopped for a traffic violation when the officer smelled and observed vomit in the vehicle and subsequently determined that she was intoxicated, according to police.
She was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and several traffic infractions, police said.
