Police: Two Men Arrested For Fighting Near Boardy Barn

Two men were arrested on Sunday night after fighting in a parking lot next to the Boardy Barn in Hampton Bays, according to Southampton Town Police.

Eddie Lopez, 24, of Levittown, and Ivan Luque, 29, of Oceanside, fought in a parking lot at 248 Montauk Highway around 7:30 p.m., police said.

Both were charged with third degree assault, police said.

They were transported to Southampton Town Police Headquarters and released on bail.

The Boardy Barn, known for its legendary summer Sunday parties, was open at the time, but police did not say if Lopez and Luque had been at the Barn before the fight.
