Remsenburg-Speonk Schools Make Weather Decision

Remsenburg-Speonk Union Free School District announced that schools will be dismissing early on Monday and will be closed on Tuesday.

There will be an early dismissal on Monday, Jan. 26. School will be dismissed at 1 p.m. and all after school activities are cancelled.

All schools will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 27.

The cancellation comes due to heavy snowfall expected this week.

The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning–in effect from 1 p.m. Monday until midnight Wednesday–for the entire island.
