Roommate Altercation Leads To Arrest In Speonk: PD
He reportedly hit the man in the head several times and tried to prevent him from calling 911, police say.
SPEONK, NY — A Speonk man was arrested after a physical altercation Tuesday, police said.
According to Southampton Town police, the incident took place at about 10 a.m. when Andrew Tash, 51, was involved in the physical altercation with a roommate at his residence in Speonk.
The victim reported that Tash struck him in the head several times while attempting to prevent him from calling 911 for help, police said.

Tash was arrested at his residence and charged with third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief, misdemeanors, police said.
Tash was transported to Southampton Town police headquarters for processing, then transported to the Southampton Town Justice Court for arraignment, police said.
