Sag Harbor Woman Charged With DWAI Drugs After Parking On Highway: PD
Her vehicle was parked in a travel lane on the Sunrise Highway, police say.
HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A Sag Harbor woman was arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs after she was found with her car parked in a travel lane on Sunrise Highway, police said.
According to Southampton Town police, the incident took place on Wednesday at 3:30 a.m. when an on patrol saw the vehicle parked in the westbound lane of Sunrise Highway, near the Peconic
Road overpass.

The vehicle was parked in the travel portion of the lane, causing an obstruction and creating a hazardous condition, police said.
Taylor Vaughn, 28, of Sag Harbor was arrested and charged with misdemeanor DWAI drugs, police said.

She was transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and held for morning arraignment, police said.
