Search on for Thieves Who Stole from Macy's In Hampton Bays, With Child in Tow: Police
The pair stole more than $2,000 in merchandise, police said

HAMPTON BAYS, NY — The search is one for a man and woman who stole more than $2,000 from Macy's in Hampton Bays — and fled the area with a child, police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and detectives from the Southampton Town Police Department are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man and woman who stole assorted merchandise from a store in Hampton Bays on Sunday, June 26, Suffolk County Police said.
The pair stole more than $2,000 in assorted merchandise from the Macy’s in Hampton Bays. They were confronted by Macy’s security, relinquished the proceeds, and then fled the area with a child, approximately three to four years old, in a blue gray minivan, police said.

The Southampton Town Police Department's detective division is investigating the incident, along with multiple additional incidents, police said.
