State Police Report: Two DWI Arrests, Two Drug-Related Arrests

Check out a list of recent crime activity as reported by the state police.

State Police-Riverside report the following arrests in the area over the past week:

  • Aidan Richards, 20, of Riverhead, was arrested on Monday, June 1 at 11 p.m. for unlawful possession of marijuana. Troopers observed Richard’s car in a park on Ludlum Avenue in Riverside. Investigation revealed that Richards to be in possession of marijuana. He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Southampton Court on July 13.
  • Adam Yoilin, 35, of Los Angeles, CA, was arrested on Friday at 2 a.m. for unlawful possession of marijuana. Yoilin was a passenger in a car that was stopped for speeding on CR-39 in Southampton. Investigation revealed that he was in possession of marijuana. Yoilin was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Southampton Court on July 13.
  • Ronald Bascope, 37, of Central Islip, was arrested on Saturday at 7 p.m. for felony DWI and unlawful possession of marijuana after being stopped for speeding on the Long Island Expressway east of exit 72 in Riverhead. Investigation revealed that Bascope had a previous D.W.I conviction within the past 10 years, making this arrest a felony. He was held for arraignment in the Town of Riverhead Court.
  • Tyler Collins, 22, of Riverhead, was arrested on Saturday for driving while intoxicated after being stopped for a traffic violation on County Route 104 in Flanders. He was released on traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Southampton Court on June 29.
