Your Tax $$$ Being Spent to Deny Your Vote
For 8 months, concerned citizens have called for an elected Board of Trustees at the Westhampton Free Library. Visit wflelectedboard.org.

In a stunning development, the Board of Trustees of the Westhampton Free Library produced a Report of Selection of Trustees at the April 13 board meeting that disenfranchises the Library taxpayer.
However, the Library also distributed their confidential attorney letter, that shows how the Library set out to prove their premise in a roundabout and deceitful manner that an appointed board is the only way to go.
Sadly, our vote was denied using our tax dollars to pay for the "research" basically unrelated to a publicly elected Library Board of Trustees. Association libraries with elected trustees, many with unions, exist in Suffolk County, on Long Island, in NYS and across the country. They have been thriving for decades and decades.
