Thief Steals $4.4K From Schmidt's Country Market In Quogue: PD
An arrest was made Wednesday, police say.
QUOGUE, NY — Police have arrested the thief that stole $4,400 from Schmidt's Country Market in Quogue this week.
According to Quogue Village Police, a report came in on Jan. 6 about a burglary during the overnight hours at the market on Jessup Avenue.
The business was closed and unoccupied at the time of the incident, police said. Quogue Village police and detectives responded to investigate.

On Wednesday, Andrew Blankenship, 35, from Shirley, was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary, a felony; third-degree grand larceny, a felony; and third-degree criminal trespass, a misdemeanor, police said.
He was processed, arraigned, and released on his own recognizance for a future court date at Quogue Village Justice Court, police said.
