Threats To Police, Families, Spray-Painted In Westhampton: PD
The spray-painted threats, saying "Cops Will B Shot," and Shoot Cops 4 Fun" were found in Westhampton in January, police say.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY — Spray-painted graffiti threatening police officers and their families was found in Westhampton in January, police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Southampton Town Police detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate whoever spray-painted the threats, including the words "Cops Will Be Shot," "WHBPD=Death," "Poor>Rich," "Cops Wives Get Shot 2," and "Shoot Cops 4 Fun."
The incident was reported at 9 a.m. on January 27, and the words were likely spray-painted within the prior day, police said.

The graffiti was found both on the sidewalk along South Road near Beaver Dam Creek, and also on the yellow center lines of Baycrest Avenue near Bishop Avenue, police said.
