Typing With Mickey At Hampton Bays Elementary

WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY — Learning to type is a skill that will last a lifetime.

And now, through the use of two new interactive programs, Hampton Bays Elementary School students are gaining keyboarding skills in technology classes.

The age-tailored typing applications, Mickey’s Typing Adventure and Typing Instructor, provides students in grades 2 to 4 with instruction in important keyboarding skills, including proper typing posture and fundamentals, the district said.

According to technology teacher Wendy Alberti, the students are very motivated to practice typing and watch their skill level improve.
