Vets Enjoy Breakfast Prepared With Thanks By Students
This week, the young chefs served veterans who've sacrificed for the nation.

HAMPTON BAYS, NY — Veterans who've served the nation got served themselves this week, as Hampton Bays High School students prepared a breakfast for them with love and thanks.
Culinary students at Hampton Bays High School practiced their catering skills in a real-world setting on Wed., Jan. 10.
The young chefs-in-training dished up eggs, bacon and other breakfast treats for local veterans from American Legion Hand Aldrich Post 924 in Hampton Bays.

And that's not all: The district plans to invite the veterans back for another delicious meal soon.
"The culinary program is part of the Hampton Bays School District’s college and career offerings, which include a hands-on pre-K program," the district said.
