Westhampton Beach Firehouse Demolished Wednesday Morning

The Westhampton Beach Firehouse was demolished Wednesday morning to make room for a new 27,000 square-foot firehouse to be constructed at the same location on 92 Sunset Ave. this fall.

The bidding out aspect of the project has begun, with the bidding for the concrete to be accepted this Friday, Sept. 19.

Temporarily until the new firehouse is built, the fire trucks will leave out of 32 Seabreeze Ave. and the district office will be on 108 Mill Road right across from the firehouse.
