Westhampton Beach High School Athletes Lauded

WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY — Once again, Westhampton Beach High School students have made their hometown proud.

Westhampton Beach High School has been named a Scholar-Athlete School of Excellence for the 2022 to 2023 school year by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association, the district said.

To earn the recognition, 75 percent of the school’s varsity athletic teams were required to hold a GPA above 90 percent. Westhampton Beach was among 219 schools to receive the honor, the district said.

"The Westhampton Beach School District extends its congratulations to its varsity athletes for their dedication to academics," district officials said.
