Westhampton Beach High Student Honored By National Football Foundation

He's earned a scholar athlete award — and made his hometown proud. He's been playing football since he was just 6 years old.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY — A Westhampton Beach High School senior has been honored for his football prowess.

Geoff Arrasatte has been recognized by the National Football Foundation with a scholar athlete award, the Westhampton Beach Union Free School District said, earning the accolade for his dedication to academics and football.

Arrasatte, who has played football since he was just 6, has been a member of his school’s varsity football team for the past four years and holds All-Division honors in the sport. He is also a member of his school’s varsity lacrosse team.

Off the field, Arrasatte participates in student government and serves as senior class treasurer. He plans to attend High Point University in the fall to study international business.

"The Westhampton Beach School District congratulates Arrasatte on this notable achievement," the district said.
