Westhampton Beach Students Create 1000+ Care Packages For Ukraine
Each package included cards carrying messages of hope that students penned, along with snacks and personal care items.

WESTHAMPTON, NY — Westhampton Beach Middle School students sent love around the world recently.
The students worked to help Ukraine by putting together 1,000 care packages for troops in the war-torn country over a two-day period, the district said.
Each package included cards with handwritten "messages of hope" from the kids, along with snacks and personal care items that were donated by Rocco A. Carriero Wealth Partners, with shipping by Get Moving USA.

Students also learned more about Ukraine culture from Natalie Massa, a Ukrainian and local mom who is the founder of the nonprofit "I Love Ukraine" organization; she spent time discussing her life in Ukraine and the current war, the district said.
