🌱 Westhampton-Hampton Bays Daily: House Fire + Saving

The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Westhampton-Hampton Bays.

(Patch Media)

Good day, neighbors and friends! There's no lesson more important that we can teach the next generation than how critically important it is to save the environment, especially on the East End where so much centers on our water bodies. Some Hampton Bays students teamed up recently to glue eelgrass seeds onto hard clams — and it's a lesson on giving back they'll carry with them always.

Also in the news, a fire broke out in Westhampton Beach and thanks to our firefighters, the flames were quickly extinguished. I am thankful every day for the heroes among us.

Until tomorrow.

First, today's weather:

Clouds and sun; not as cool. High: 57 Low: 39.
