Westhampton Man, 22, Found In Possession Of Child Pornography: Police

He's facing felony charges and was remanded to jail in lieu of bail, police say.

WESTHAMPTON, NY — A Westhampton man, 22, was arrested Wednesday after being found in possession of child pornography, police said.

According to New York State Police, after an Internet Crimes Against Children cyber tip and thorough investigation, the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Computer Crimes Unit was able to make the arrest.

Kevin Walsh was processed at the New York State Troopers barracks in Riverside; he was charged with three counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child, a D felony, and three counts of possession of sexual performance by a child, a Class E felony, police said.

Walsh was arraigned at Southampton Town Justice Court on Wednesday and remanded to the Suffolk County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail, police said.
