'What I Love': Valentine Words From Hampton Bays 2nd Graders
The sweetest words from Hampton Bays second graders, getting ready for Valentine's Day.
HAMPTON BAYS, NY — Ever wonder what a second grader loves most? No, not video games or expensive toys. It's their moms and dads, their brothers, their aunts, their pets — their families and friends.
The heartwarming message was clear as Hampton Bays Elementary School second grade students in Suzanne Lewis' and Erin McDermott’s class practiced writing skills while getting ready for Valentine’s Day.
The students each were charged to write about "What I Love," their messages printed on colorful hearts and then strung them together to create a Valentine’s Day decoration, displayed outside their classroom door.
