Winning Lottery Ticket Worth $20,946 Sold In Hampton Bays

HAMPTON BAYS, NY — Check your tickets: A winning lottery ticket worth more than $20,000 was sold in Hampton Bays.

The New York Lottery announced Friday that two top prize winning tickets were sold in Suffolk County for Thursday's Take 5 drawing.

A top prize winning ticket worth $20,946 was sold at Canoe Place Fuel Mart, located at 250 East Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays.

A second top prize winning ticket, also worth $20,946, was sold at Joanne’s Smoke Shop, located at 1484 Montauk Highway in Mastic.

In addition to the two $20,946 top prizes for Thursday's Take 5 drawing, which was won by matching five out of five numbers, 254 players each purchased winning tickets worth $371 by matching four out of five numbers for the drawing. In total, there were 90,608 Take 5 winners for the February 16 drawing.

The winning numbers for the February 16 Take 5 drawing were 10-13-19-26-27.

The Lottery encourages everyone who bought a New York Lottery draw game ticket to check their tickets again, as they could be holding a winner. Tickets expire one year after the game’s drawing.

The winners may claim the tickets at any one of the Lottery’s customer service centers statewide, including the Long Island office at 45 South Service Road, Plainview, NY 11803 or at Resorts World Casino New York City, 110-00 Rockaway Blvd., Jamaica, NY 11420.
