Woman Charged With DWI In Hampton Bays: Police

She was stopped for failing to maintain her lane, police say.

HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A Mattituck woman was arrested Thursday afternoon in Hampton Bays and charged with driving while intoxicated, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police, at 4:09 p.m., Angela Sidlauskas, 29, was seen failing to maintain her lane on West Montauk Highway.

She was stopped, found to be intoxicated, arrested and charged with misdemeanor DWI and aggravated DWI: per se — BAC of .18 of 1 percent or more alcohol in blood, a misdemeanor, as well as several vehicle and traffic law violations police said.

Sidlauskas was taken to Southampton Town Police headquarters for arrest processing and was held to appear in Southampton Town Justice Court at morning arraignment, police said.
