2 Injured In Overturn Crash In Amityville
The crash was reported just a few hours after second overturn crash occurred a few miles away.
AMITYVILLE, NY - Two people were hospitalized after an overturn crash in Amityville just a few hours after another crash occurred nearby on Tuesday morning, according to the Amityville Fire Department.
The crash was reported at W. Oak Street and County Line Road at about 10:30 a.m.
Responding firefighters found one of the cars on its side with one person trapped inside.

Crews worked to stabilize the injured passenger trapped inside as well as another injured person.
Firefighters also turned the car on its side, secured a fluid leak and removed the windshield of the vehicle to extricate the driver.

The two injured were transported to local hospital for evaluation.
Firefighters were on the scene for about half an hour.
Earlier Tuesday morning, two people were hospitalized after an overturn crash involving a flatbed truck full of cinderblocks in North Amityville about 3 miles away.
