On Thursday, two men Marcus A. Wright and Olya Quinnam, both 22, of Beaufort, South Carolina, were arrested in connection to the New Jersey robbery/murder, Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey told Patch.

Wright is accused of entering the gas station while Quinnam waited outside, Carey said. Wright allegedly held up the store with a handgun; he is accused of shooting Bertram after the victim handed over a cash register drawer with money inside of it.

In a statement, Suffolk Police said they are "aware of the arrests" of the two men.

"They are persons of interest in the West Babylon 7-Eleven robbery on December 19," police said. "The investigation is ongoing. We are coordinating with our law enforcement partners in Edison New Jersey, South Carolina and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office."

No charges in connection to the West Babylon robbery have been made yet.
