2 West Islip Residents Among 10 Arrested At Sobriety Checkpoint
The checkpoint was conducted overnight as part of ongoing holiday enforcement operations, Suffolk Police say.

PATCHOGUE, NY – Ten people were arrested during an overnight sobriety checkpoint in Patchogue overnight, Suffolk Police said.
Officers from the Suffolk County Police Department Highway Patrol Bureau, assisted by New York State troopers, conducted the checkpoint at the corner of Waverly Avenue and the North Service Road of Sunrise Highway from 11:16 p.m. Friday until 2 a.m. Saturday.
The checkpoint was conducted as part of ongoing holiday enforcement operations for the prevention of injuries and fatalities associated with driving while ability impaired by alcohol and drugs, police said. A total of 499 vehicles went through the checkpoint.

The following people were charged with DWI:
- Michelle Jamsky, 28, of Holbrook
- Terrance Conklin, 59, of Holbrook
- Alicia St. Nicholas, 29, of Bohemia
- Kevin Koszalka, 58, of West Islip
- Jennifer Graham, 36, of West Islip
- Anthony Flower, 32, of North Patchogue
- Mike Lopez-Ulloa, 23, of Bay Shore
Teresa Wilkenson, 50, of West Babylon, was charged with driving while impaired by alcohol. Joel Santiago, 35, of Amityville, was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs. Michelle McCarthy, 44, of Patchogue, was charged with driving while ability impaired by the combined influence of alcohol and drugs.

All of those arrested were scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip Saturday.
