April 8: What's on Tap Today?

Check this list everyday for a glimpse at what's happening around West Islip... from school events to sports games and Town of Islip functions, there is a sampling of everything.

1.  The NYSSMA Jazz Festival is taking place at Udall Middle School from 4- 9:30 p.m.  It's also the Udall Spring Dance at 7 p.m.

2.  Regarding inquiries on Patch regarding Mr. Leonard of Udall Middle School, the district made this statement: Statement from the district: "Mr. Leonard has not been fired. He was placed on administrative assignment, with pay, as the district investigates a certain matter. This is a personnel issue and, therefore, the district can not say more."

3.  Our sold column returns today at noon.  Find out how much $$$ houses in your area are selling for.
