Barraga Congratulates New Eagle Scout From West Islip

Recently, Legis. Thomas Barraga presented West Islip High School freshman Austin Daniel Bodurian with a proclamation in recognition for obtaining the designation of Eagle Scout.

In order to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, a young man must exhibit leadership, talent, character and perseverance. Austin’s project was to plant arborvitae trees in the children’s playground at a local church.
