Bayview Fifth Graders Collect, Donate More Than 70 Coats
The class donated coats to the The Learning Connection in Brentwood.

Several fifth graders at West Islip’s Bayview Elementary School wanted to warm up the community this January by collecting winter coats. Working together for three weeks, the students collected, sorted and bagged, donating more than 70 coats to The Learning Connection in Brentwood, an adult education program for immigrant woman who are learning English and life skills.
