The center will be open Tuesdays & Thursdays from 11am – 3pm. It will be manned by a full time Veterans Disability, Compensation, Benefits and Claims Attorney – Kenneth S. Beskin, P.C. There will always be complimentary coffee and pastries available for those veterans just looking to fellowship or speak with other veterans.

The United Veterans Beacon House will take referrals of Veterans in need of services not available at BCBA.

"Though it’s taken longer than we expected, our team of volunteers made it happen, in spite of the hurdles thrown in front of us," said Ray Bettinelli, Head Coach and Director of Operations for BCBA.

Mr. Bettinelli is referring to their ongoing battle with the landlord who closed off their access to the buildings only handicap ramp and handicap bathroom; prohibiting those with disabilities from gaining access to their Veteran Center.

“As a boxing coach you learn to roll with the punches, so I can tell you, no corrupt public employee is going to keep BCBA from doing whatever it can to help improve the health and quality of life of our veterans,” Bettinelli continued.

Guests are invited to drop in on June 14th between 10am and 4pm to tour the facility, meet the staff, and shake the hand of a service man.

Refreshments and samplings will be available, and visitors can even sign up to volunteer whether to host a program or provide computer assistance for those needing emails for communication purposes.
