BCBA Veterans Service Center Holding OPEN HOUSE | Needs Volunteers

The Northport Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center’s Community Relations Outreach Team will be hosting an Enrollment Open House Event for VA Benefits at BCBA in West Islip on Tuesday, April 12th 9am -12pm.

The event will present information on medical benefits, entitlements and assist with enrollment in the VA Health Care System to veterans in the greater South Shore area.

The Community Relations staff will answer any questions about VA Medical Center eligibility, as well as details about the excellent programs and services provided at the Northport Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center.

The event will double as a showcase for the new Veterans Affairs Service Center opening at BCBA. A full lineup of Veterans Services will soon be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 4pm. All these services will be provided FREE of charge to the brave men and women who have served our great Nation and include:

· Veteran Only NA/AA Meeting

· A Wheelchair Basketball Program

· Benefit Advocates

· Housing, Clothing and Food Coordinators

· PTSD Coordinators & More

"The goal is simple, BCBA is willing to do whatever it can to help improve the health and quality of life of our veterans, but we need volunteers to help make this happen," said Ray Bettinelli, Head Coach and Director of Operations for BCBA.
