Brentwood Man Charged in Sexual Assault of Young Girls
The 24-year-old was arrested last year.
A Brentwood man was convicted on Thursday for the rape of two young girls last year, according to records.
Augustine Ortiz, 24, was found guilty of first degree rape, first degree sexual abuse and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
He was arrested for raping a 9-year-old and a 7-year-old girl in May 2015.

He will be sentenced on Jan. 9. If he is convicted on the top charge of first degree rape he could face up to 25 years in prison.
