Brentwood Man Shoots 20-Year-Old In Arm After Altercation: Police

The 32-year-old was arrested after the shooting early Thursday morning, police say.

BRENTWOOD, NY - A Brentwood man was arrested for shooting a 20-year-old man in Brentwood after an altercation early Thursday morning, according to Suffolk Police.

Christopher Moncion, 32, became involved in an altercation with the 20-year-old Brentwood man on Madison Avenue at 12:48 a.m., police said.

Moncion then pulled a gun and fired a shot that grazed the other man’s left arm, causing a minor injury, police said.

The man refused medical treatment.

Moncion was arrested and charged with second degree assault.

He is scheduled for arraignment on Thursday.
