Car Crash Briefly Closes Union Blvd. In Bay Shore: Police

The single-car crash happened when the driver struck a suspension pole, causing the vehicle to overturn, Suffolk County Police said.

BAY SHORE, NY — Union Boulevard in Bay Shore was closed briefly Saturday morning as officers from the Suffolk County Police Department responded to a car crash, authorities said.

The single-car crash happened on Union near Thompson Drive shortly after 8 a.m., according to a Suffolk County Police.. The car hit a suspension pole, which caused the vehicle to overturn, police said.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured, according to police.
