The fiery crash occurred on the Southern State Parkway early Sunday.

A Queens man and his two children were killed in a fiery crash on the Southern State Parkway in Bay Shore early Sunday after their car was rear-ended by a drunk driver who fled the scene, State Police said.
According to police, Ancio Ostane, of St. Albans, was driving a 2005 Toyota westbound on the Southern State just west of Exit 41–Bay Shore Road–when the vehicle was struck from behind by a 2008 BMW at about 1:30 a.m.
The impact of the crash caused the Toyota to become engulfed in flames, police said. Ancio Ostane and his two children, 8-year-old Andy and 4-year-old Sephora, were pronounced dead at the scene. Ostane’s wife, Lucnie Bouaz-Ostane, was able to escape from the burning vehicle and was treated and released from Southside Hospital.
